My name is Manuel Figueiredo and I was born in December 1966. I have always lived in Carcavelos.

Although I grew up surrounded by paintings (my father Eduardo Figueiredo had a strong artistic streak) only recently have I become interested in this form of art. As I love nature I felt inclined to paint landscapes.

My first collective exhibition was at the "Hibiscus" Art Gallery in Lisbon in May 2007. I then showed my work at the “A Portuguesa” bookstore in Carcavelos.

In June 2007, I completed the Instructors Course in oil painting Landscapes (CRI®) with the Bob Ross wet-on-wet Technique® in Holland, and am now the first Instructor in Portugal certified to teach this fantastic painting technique.

I am available to demonstrate this technique live at fairs, shopping centers, Schools, Art shops andgalleries, etc..
